Greenland Institute of Natural Resources
Thomas has been involved in Arctic research for the past two decades and holds a PhD degree in Arctic marine biology from Canada. He works as a senior researcher and education coordinator at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR), studying Arctic marine ecosystems and the effects of climate change. Thomas is managing and participating in marine research and monitoring in collaboration with national and international partners. He has spent more than a year in the field onboard scientific research vessels and at various field camps. He also coordinates and teaches natural science graduate courses in Nuuk, Greenland.
