Eda Ayaydin is a PhD candidate at the UVSQ under the supervision of Professor Jan Borm and Thomas Lindemann in the field of Political Science. Her PhD thesis examines the relation between the Arctic exploration and sovereignty and use of science in the region.
She is also a lecturer at Sciences Po Bordeaux where she teaches Arctic politics and indigenous cultures. She has publications on the Arctic exploration, political representation of the Finnish Sami and governance in the Arctic
